Responsible. Who is the Data Controller?

In compliance with Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on information society services and electronic commerce, we inform you that the Cuatrecasas-Peitx Endocrinologia i Nutrició S.L. (hereinafter CPEN) is the owner of the website cpen.cat, with CIF B-64035611 and address in Calle Alacant, num. 26, baixos, 08029, Barcelona. Legitimation. What is the legitimation for the processing of your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your data is based on the consent that will be requested in the different contact forms or appointment request. The user who provides personal data through the different contact forms or appointment request of the website, will be voluntarily providing personal data (henceforth the Personal Data). The personal information you provide us through the different contact forms or appointment request and in the emails, will be entered in an automated processing under the responsibility of CPEN, and will be kept confidential and protected.

In this sense, CPEN informs users that, in compliance with art. 5 of the Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, this entity holds files with personal data, properly notified and registered with the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, and in compliance with GDPR 679/2016 has a Register of Activities. Therefore, the user expressly and fully and unreservedly accepts that CPEN processes your personal data in an automated manner and incorporates in the treatment file in order to be able to respond to your queries, and provide and offer your services. In the section on purpose we detail in detail for which purpose CPEN will process your personal data.

This privacy policy describes the collection and use we make of your personal information. Unless specifically stated otherwise, it will be considered necessary to complete all mandatory data to use all forms.

Origin. How have we obtained your data?

All personal information, personal data, that we have about you has been provided to us through the different contact forms or appointment request or in emails.

Types of forms presented on the CPEN website and categories of data to be requested on the forms:

a) Contact form and appointment request
  • Full name.
  • Email.
  • Telephone.
  • DNI
  • Private or mutual
  • Day and time

Specially protected data is not processed.

Visiting the CPEN website does not mean that the user is obliged to provide any information about himself.

The user will have the option to give their acceptance and consent to the processing of their Personal Data by CPEN in accordance with this Data Protection Policy. However, if you do not accept the terms of the Data Protection Policy requested in the different unequivocal consent validation boxes, you may not use the contact or appointment request forms.

CPEN expressly prohibits minors under the age of eighteen from providing Personal Data without the prior consent of their parents or guardians. If you are under 18 and do not have such consent, do not provide Personal Data to CPEN or use our services.

The user must provide CPEN with the Personal Data that may be required when using the contact form. The Personal Data will be treated with the degree of protection legally required to guarantee the security of them and to avoid their alteration, loss, processing or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the technology, being the user aware and accepting that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.

Purpose. For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At CPEN we process the information you provide us to manage the queries received and manage appointments.

Purpose of the data processing of the contact form: to respond to your queries.

In short, the personal information you provide us through the different forms and in the emails, will remain confidential and protected. In no case will it be used or used for other purposes, nor will it be delivered to third parties without your consent, in accordance with the principles of data protection of the Spanish law LOPD (Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and RD 1720/2007, of 21 December, of Implementing Regulations), as well as RGPD 679/2016. To comply with the different legal provisions, we have established different levels of security to protect the personal data you provide us, having adopted all the technical measures at our disposal to avoid loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and manipulation of such personal data.

Our commitment:

  • We promise to protect your privacy and treat the information you provide confidentially.
  • The information you provide will only be used to respond to your queries or regarding the contracted services.
  • We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.

The user must fill in the forms that are contained with true, accurate, complete and up-to-date data, answering for the damages that may be caused to CPEN, or to third parties as a result of non-compliance with such aspects.

How long will we keep your data?

Personal data will be kept in compliance with the statutory limitation periods that apply.

Recipients. To which recipients will your data be communicated?

The data you send us through the web will be processed by Cuatrecasas-Peitx Endocrinologia i Nutrició S.L. and the collaborators of the Responsible if necessary, and will be subject to professional secrecy to provide the requested service.

Rights. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation on whether or not we are processing personal data concerning them at CPEN. Interested persons have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion. You always have the right to exercise your rights of information, access, rectification, opposition, deletion, limitation of processing and portability of the personal data you have provided to us, established in GDPR 679/2016. Cookie Policy
